Market Research Assistant

Description:

The Market Research Assistant will collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand through relevant techniques and procedures, structured interviews or through other means for designated research assignments.

Qualifications/ Requirements:
• Minimum of five (05) O’ Levels including Mathematics and English
• Two (02)CAPE/ A’ Level subjects
• Degree in Economics/Marketing
• Insurance Relevant Certificates
• Three (03) years experience in a Market Research Position

Underwriter

Description:

The underwriter will be responsible for monitoring and assessing the acceptability of General Insurance risks based on the Company guidelines.

Primary Duties:
• Proper assessment and rating of risks offered to the company (all lines of General Insurance).
• Ensuring that the Company’s underwriting guidelines are adhered to by members of the Customer Service Centre, Brokers and Financial Advisors.
• Overseeing the accurate and timely preparation of policy documents for clients, brokers and agents.
• Ensuring that policies provided and risks written, as well as reinsurance arrangements are within the underwriting guidelines of the Company.

Qualifications/ Requirements:
• Minimum of five (05) O’ Levels including Mathematics and English
• Two (02)CAPE/ A’ Level subjects
• Diploma or Degree in related field work would be an asset
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Preferably two (2) years in a similar position or in an underwriting environment, preferably General Insurance.

Office Administrator/ Operations

Description:

The Office Clerk/ Assistant will work toward completing all task related to the needs of the project or unit.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Data entry
• Filing of documents
• Drafting and writing letters
• Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
• Sending emails and faxes
• Answering telephone queries
• Use of Microsoft applications and various databases

Qualifications Requirements:
• Minimum of 5/O' level subjects
• 2 CAPE/A' level subjects
• Strong MS office application skills.

Systems Administrator

Description:

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for all functions related to the availability and performance of the Company’s centralized computer equipment, including hardware, operating systems, and related components.

Responsibilities:
• System Availability:
o Effective preventative and remedial system maintenance
o Ensure back-up equipment is available as and when needed
o Perform system back-up (operating system, applications and data) in accordance with standard procedure
o Monitor and enforce security procedures to comply with corporate standards
• System Performance:
o Ensure equipment response and reliability meets client requirements
o Perform periodic checks on equipment/system performance and effect performance tuning as necessary
o Investigate root causes of client complaints and queries, and take remedial action
• System Operation
o Install computer equipment and related hardware components
o Install applications software approved for use within the Company, unclosing operation system software
o Perform routine data storage and retrieval, and requested storage/retrieval based on documented client requests
• System Maintenance
o Analyze client requests for repairs and maintenance
o Document solutions
