Accountant

Description:

The incumbent is responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual audited financial statements, Central Bank reports and other Statutory returns.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly Central Bank package
• Payment of annual licence fees
• Calculation and payment of annual DIC premiums (paid quarterly)
• Prepare monthly management accounts for Fidelity Finance and Leasing Company Ltd.
• Preparation of Annual Financial Statements, audit and year end schedules
• Preparation of Annual Corporation Tax return
• Prepare Central Bank reports (CB - 90, 100, 105, 110, 115, 20, 30, 40, and any other report that is required)
• Inter-company Reconciliation
• Prepare Rate of Return
• Agents’ Commission
• Intercompany Reimbursements
• Prepare Wear & Tear Schedule
• Tax and Deferred Tax Computation
• Prepare Fidelity’s VAT Return

Qualifications Requirements:
• ACCA Level 2 qualified or semi qualified.
• Knowledge of Excel and Word, Bankmaster would be an asset.
• Minimum three (3) years related work experience.
• Minimum two (2) years in an insurance institution
• Experience in a financial institution would be considered an asset.

Assistant Accountant - Mutual Fund

Description:

To provide the accurate valuation of Client's funds and to report thereon.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Ensure the accurate valuation of all instruments for the production of accurate NAV pricing
• Ensure that all private portfolios under management are accurately valued daily.
• Ensure that daily transactions are settled promptly and approved investments are executed in a timely manner
• Ensure all reports are accurately prepared and submitted in a timely manner to internal/external public.
• Ensure Statutory reporting to all Regulators.

Qualifications Requirements:

Compliance Assistant

Description:

The incumbent will provide courteous and prompt administrative and clerical support to the Team Leader of Group Compliance in an effort to ensure the smooth functionality of the unit.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage the inflow and outflow of correspondences within the Unit
• Maintenance of an organised and updated filing system for the Unit and each assigned project
• Perform compliance reviews in a professional manner and as outlined in designed programmes
• Perform or assist in executing special investigations.
• Assist in resolving queries.
• Assist in performing procedures necessary to compile reports due to CBTT or any other requested report.
• Assist in conducting any other training required by the Group Compliance Unit
• Compile or assist in compiling responses to requests from information.
• Assist or attend to queries addressed to the Unit

Qualifications Requirements:

Senior Marketing Administrator

Description:

To provide support in developing, coordinating, implementing and monitoring the marketing strategy for the Maritime Financial Group, all aimed at achieving the company’s vision and mission.
This includes conducting market/client research to inform the strategy, executing all marketing and advertising campaigns and budget preparation and reporting.
Additional responsibilities include providing support to the Unit in managing promotional materials and inventory, coordinating sponsorship of events, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Work with Team Lead to design and implement the marketing strategy for Maritime’s brand and product awareness. This will include, but will not be limited, to non traditional forms of social media, facebook, web strategy and also traditional media, such as television, print, radio, outdoor advertising and the Group’s buildings located at its Corporate Office site and other Branch locations
• Assist with the development and implementation of Group’s objectives
• Developing and planning campaigns in conjunction with various Units
• Develop promotional opportunities and ideas from conception through to delivery
• Comply with the Group’s marketing policies, objectives and guidelines both internally and externally
• Distribute all electronic and printed promotional material effectively throughout Group and any other parties
• Maintain the Group’s policies for internal and external communication, e.g. client letters and notices, intranet and external email correspondence, etc.
• Plan and execute the strategic direction of Maritime’s Mobile App as well as coordinate all marketing and reward campaigns for the App
• Provide reports on campaigns to ensure effectiveness of communication strategies
• Oversee the Group’s out of home (public) advertising spaces with scheduled quality checks to maintain the standards that properly reflects the Group’s corporate identity
• Explore new opportunities for public visibility and branding.
• Monitor and report of traffic on the web site, campaign strategies and campaign performance, etc
• Prepare monthly marketing MLCL and GIS reports
• Complete assigned Group goals while exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

• Develop and implement strategies to cross-market and cross-sell other products and services of The Maritime Financial Group
• Manage all direct communication via the app (push notifications, automated alerts, news posts and customized communication
• Work with support team and relevant producers to achieve annual sales targets for conversions of motor insurance and other products and services
• Develop monthly reports on app downloads, user engagement, user discounts and other app trends for the Executive
